New method to signup for Google Apps free account

more_apps_illustrationRecently Google has stopped giving Google Apps free account this caused me to switch over to outlook.com which provides custom domain based email address such as admin@techiestuffs.com or admin@wpstuffs.com.

Now I have found a workaround to create Google apps account in spite of google blocking new registrations.I have given a step by step guide with screenshots so it wont be much difficult to do that.

1. You need to have a valid Google account. If you dont have create one Gmail account.

2. Go to appengine.google.com and sign in with your gmail account.

3. Create a New Application

4. Now you will have form to setup new application,Follow the screenshot

4. Once you created a application you will get a message which gives links to your dashboard.

5. In right sidebar under Application tab you will have a option called “Application settings” click that.

  1. I have been searching for this tip a long time. Having an email like admin@pcdigger.com instead of normal email address definitely gives you some kind of professional look and authority. Thanks for the screenshots and clear guidelines. Love your work!

    • Thats true Karthik..Having a professional email lets everyone indicate that you are the owner of the blog and gives you confidence to approach the sponsors and Advertisers.

Thanks a lot for sharing your opinion and hope you got yourself a professional email.

  2. Hi Vivek,
I had done this in different way, I sign up with free trail of business account, and after the expiry of trial they automatically downgraded my account to free.
    its simple and easy..

BTW thanks for sharing this trick.. :)

  3. I am confused a bit.
What will be the difference between Google Apps and getting the same custom email ID using our host’s cPanel?
    Thanks in advance

    • By using google App you get to host your professional Email in Gmail which is more advanced, convenient and cleaner then the Mail clients you use through cPanel.

Also you can add any number of gmail accounts and within a second you can navigate to your inbox which is not possible in cPanel mail client.

Hope I answered for your question, get back to me if you are still not clear.

  4. Nice Job… I was using single user email on MSN live Domain, now I moved to google APP with the help of this post. Thanks!!

  5. the tips gels quite good but the problem is the limitation of 1 email per domain.. it makes me to switch over to outlook and I hope Microsoft is enjoying this attention..
